One day in September 2019, our company China Shipping Anchor Chain received an inquiry from Daniel, a Canadian shipping service provider. The customer asked us if we have grade three 52mm chain inventory of 12 length of 27.5 meters for LR certificate, saying that their ship owner The ship is expected to arrive at Busan Port, South Korea in 3 days, and asked if we could deliver it to Busan in time. After receiving the inquiry, our company replied to the customer that our anchor chain is in stock, but it takes 2 days to load from our factory to the port, 3 days to warehousing, and at least 2 days for shipping, so It will take 7-9 days to reach Busan, South Korea at the earliest. We analyzed this matter for the customer, and suggested that the customer can ask whether the shipowner can repair the ship and change the anchor chain at the next dock. After receiving the email, the customer quickly asked the shipowner and explained the fact that it is currently impossible to change the anchor chain in Busan, South Korea. In the end, the shipowner agreed to replace the anchor chain at a shipyard in Zhoushan, China. Finally, we delivered the anchor chain to a shipyard in Zhoushan within 2 days. The customer finally replaced the anchor chain smoothly.
