M1, M2, M3 three levels of anchor chain
The steel grade of the anchor chain used to produce the anchor chain. The welded anchor chain is divided into three levels: M1, M2, and M3, and the cast steel anchor chain is divided into two levels: M2 and M3. Add A (such as AM2) before the corresponding code to indicate that there is a gear chain, and B means that there is no gear chain (there are two levels of BM1 and BM2). The higher the steel grade, the greater the tensile strength. AM1 grade anchor chain steel is killed steel, AM2, AM3 grade anchor chain steel is fully killed fine grained steel. For the same ship, if high-strength steel is used, the size of the chain link can be reduced appropriately.
